Education:
Quincy College, Business Degree Private Institution, classical guitar and voice
Experience:
I began working full time at the age of 18. At 21 I started to work as a studio singer and bassist at a number of recording studios in Boston. In the early eighties I recorded an album on a major label and toured the US. For the past ten years I have been the co-leader for "Modern Manners/Doghouse", session musician and teachers.
Teaching Philosophy:
To instill in my students a love and appreciation for many styles of music. By employing various text books, CD's and exercises, the students learn a degree of technical proficiency on their instrument. Students are encouraged to be self motivated and are evaluated on an individual basis. I believe that music is an emotional release and a means of self expression and enjoyment to be shared.
