Kimberly sang in the Berklee Gospel Choir with the likes of Susan Tedeschi and Kenya Hathaway, performing at the historic “Symphony Hall, the “Park Plaza Hotel” and many other prestigious venues in the Boston area. The choir accepted Second Place in the Northeast Gospel Competition in 1991. She also sang in a jazz ensemble with Paula Cole, with an impromptu appearance by Bobby McFerrin.

She recorded “That’s What Love Is For” by Amy Grant, in a Pop/Rock recording ensemble. Later, she recorded a video, lip-singing this song for a student’s project at Emerson College.

Kim has performed in many local bands, singing lead and background vocals. “Lovething”, a pop/rock band, caught the eye of the producer for Bon Jovi, in a local “Battle of the Bands”. She auditioned for Stage Source, and received many callbacks for equity roles.

She sang in many Broadway/Cabaret shows, such as "Hello, Dolly”, with the Duxbury Bay Players, “Camelot” and an annual “Cabaret Musical”, with the Hingham Civic Theater. She was also a singing waitress on the "Spirit of Boston”, and at “The Common Market” in Quincy, MA.

She continued with her love for gospel music, while performing on the Worship Team at Crossroads Church, in Sharpsburg, GA. She made the first cut for the reality television show, “Nashville Star”, where Miranda Lambert began her music career.

Kimberly has taught students from age infant to adult, and tries to bring out each one’s unique potential, through proper breathing techniques, vocalizes, interpretation and style, suited to each student’s individual voice and musical preference. In teaching music, she combines her passion for music and love for children.
